Clearmake is a leading Australian manufacturer of industrial water treatment and recycling solutions, with equipment installed at over 3,000 locations nationwide.

Earlier this month, Clearmake distributors from all over the nation gathered in Brisbane to discuss the future of the industrial water treatment and recycling industry.

During the conference Clearmake launched its new range of sludge dewatering systems, to compliment new and existing water treatment and recycling systems in the commercial market.

“Treating and recycling process water for industrial re-use can be a cost effective and environmentally sustainable practice for your business. However, removing the sludge by-product is becoming increasingly expensive. And when you consider that up to 80% of the sludge you’re removing is water, the inclusion of a Clearmake filter press can significantly reduce your waste removal costs. Plus with minimal treatment, the water removed may be suitable for re-use.” said Clearmake Managing Director, David Lumb.

The Clearmake filter presses, other product developments and the future direction of the industry were key topics discussed during the two days.

The group also visited a few local sites to see various Clearmake systems in operation.  Sites included:

• Cummins, Carole Park – custom water recycling system + filter press

• Department of Defense, Enoggera – custom water recycling system

• Skelton Tomkinson, Lytton – custom water recycling system
