Clearmake WRS Compact Water Recycling System

Article taken from The Daily Mercury, 25 September 2007.

It's no secret global warming and climate change are becoming major issues, with lots of companies looking at becoming "greener and cleaner".

In an effort to do its bit for the planet, Paget mechanical business the Haynes Group recently bought a water treatment facility.

The system is a Clearmake WRS Compact Water Recycling System — a fully-automated system that uses a combination of flocculation, settling, filtration and disinfection to recycle wastewater.

The machine will mostly be used to minimise the amount of water consumed by heavy equipment wash-down applications.

Not only will the equipment lessen the water used by the group, but it will also mean that no wastewater will be going into the council's sewerage system.
