Govt. Support for Eco-efficiency
You may be eligible for funding of up to $150,000 if your eco-efficiency project is deemed to be innovative... and a custom designed wastewater treatment or water recycling solution is certainly that. This funding opportunity could benefit your business and the state of Queensland by setting a new standard for eco‐efficiency.
ecoBiz funding (rebates) are available to support projects that will:
- improve eco-efficiency in one or more key areas of saving energy or water, or reducing material intensity, waste or greenhouse gas emissions; and
- can demonstrate innovation at a business as well as industry level.
This is a competitive program which seeks projects that will deliver economic and environmental benefits to businesses and will be diffused throughout industry. Rebates are not available for commonly available technology (or standard off the shelf solutions). Rebates are designed to offset the business risk associated with implementing new technologies or processes and are supported by the government because they have the potential to change industry.
