Clearmake has succeeded in securing a State Government grant of $244,750 through the Business and Industry Transformation Incentives (BITI) scheme. The grant will contribute toward further development of Clearmake's revolutionary electropure technology, making it suitable for an even broader range of water treatment and recycling applications.
The technology being supported by the grant is Clearmake Electropure, a superior electroflocculation technology that is less expensive than most traditional technologies, is chemical and filter free, simple to maintain with minimal operator involvement and removes a greater range of contaminants including grease, paint, oil, blood, bacteria and hydrocarbons.
This grant will significantly reduce the time taken to commercialise the technology, delivering significant benefits to Clearmake's customers, the environment and the community as a result of increased manufacturing, expected to more than double Clearmake's number of employees over the next two years.
