Sail Boat Champion At Helm

THE NOOSA JOURNAL, THURSDAY, MAY 20, 2010

WITH a former Australian Olympic sailing squad member as owner and Managing Director, it’s no surprise Noosaville-based water recycling company Clearmake has stepped up to support youth sailing. David Lumb has competed in numerous national championships and eight world championships.

‘‘Throughout my sailing career I received support from numerous sponsors and supporters and now it’s my turn to help other people experience sailing and improve their sailing skills,’’ he said. ‘‘I am very happy to be able to support a local youth sporting activity.’’

Established in 1993, Clearmake helps clients reduce potable water consumption and pollution of our water resources by designing, manufacturing, installing and servicing water treatment and water recycling solutions.  The company has more than 3500 water treatment systems operating worldwide, cleaning 40 million litres of water each day. Clearmake was appointed to design, manufacture, install and service the ground water treatment system for the new Clem7 Tunnel.
