The prestigious Telstra Business Awards concluded in Sydney on Friday with a spectacular event attended by the Prime Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd.
State finalists and distinguished guests gathered for the national event to find out which businesses would be recognised as the best of the best in 2008.
The Awards attracted over 4,500 businesses nationally and were judged on various criteria including: competitive differentiation of products and services; customer service and satisfaction; management capabilities; team environment; planning and performance; risk management; business improvement; innovation; growth and social responsibility.
After a 4 month long process, Noosaville based water treatment and recycling solutions provider, Clearmake, was announced the National Winner of the Telstra Regional Award, acknowledged as Australia’s best regionally based business.
When Clearmake Managing Director, David Lumb, was asked why he thought the company had won this prestigious award he said:
“We have a highly skilled, incredible team of people with a strong reputation in our market for delivering the most effective industrial water solutions available.
Plus we are lucky enough to be involved in the area of water conservation and environmental preservation. Everyone in the team is extremely proud of what we do. The business has also enjoyed recent improvements in process design, manufacturing and client service to remain at the forefront of the industry”.
