SLUDGE DEWATERING SPECIFICATIONS
        

A Clearmake filter press reduces the volume of liquid contained in a sludge.  Normally incorporated into a water treatment or water recycling system, a filter press delivers two benefits: maximise the amount of water recovered from the sludge, increasing overall system efficiency while also significantly reducng the volume of sludge and/or solids requiring offsite disposal (minimising disposal costs).


Construction

A Clearmake filter press is custom designed and manufactured to suit your particular application.  The frame of the filter press is constructed from coated mild steel with stainless steel options available for longer life in corrosive environments.  The filter press plates are manufactured from acid and alkaline resistant polypropylene.

 

Treatment Rates

A Clearmake filter press can manage a flow of less than 250 l  per day to more than 250,000 l per day.

 

Control System

All filter press control systems can be manual or fully automated to minimise operator involvement and ensure reliable high quality results.  Systems can also be designed and manufactured to comply with the intrinsically safe requirements of hazardous areas.
